EUROPEAN ELECTIONS 2009 - Peter Kopecky to contest European elections

 

 

Peter Kopecky heads the list of the Slovakian Agrarian and Countryside Party for European elections in June 2009

 

A founding member and vice president of the EUDemocrats, he has extensive knowledge on EU affairs and direct democracy.

 

Formerly the Slovakian Ambassador to Romania and Moldova, Peter Kopecky is currently the Assistant Director in the Institute of the European Studies and International Relations in the Faculty of Economics and Social Science at Komensky University, Bratislava.

 

Previously, he worked as the Chief of French Language Section at the Linguistic Centre of Komensky and the University Rector. In addition, Peter has earned a PhD in History and Romantic Languages and has been awarded the "National Merit Order, Large Cross Rank" by the Romanian Presidency.
